Our placement rules
- BernStone Stacks and BernStone Flops use passive banners on non-live surfaces such as menus and results; Stacks may also use its cosmetic store.
- Either game may show one desktop-only play-time rail outside the game frame, with a 150-pixel control buffer. Narrow screens and mobile gameplay do not receive that placement.
- Multiple units are limited to menu or results views; active gameplay never shows more than one unit.
- Ads are labeled “Advertisement” and are visually separated from game buttons, downloads, navigation, and purchase controls.
- Passive ads are not placed beside active touch controls or on top of the live Stacks field.
- Standard AdSense units are not automatically refreshed. Any future refreshing inventory must use declared Google Ad Manager inventory and follow Google’s refresh policies.
- We do not ask players to click ads, click our own ads, or imply that clicking an ad supports a score or unlock.
- We aim to keep publisher content more prominent than advertising on every monetized page.
Optional rewarded advertising
A rewarded ad is shown only after a player actively chooses the clearly labeled offer. BernStone Stacks may offer one optional free life after an eligible Marathon or Crumble top-out. The reward is granted only after Google Ad Manager confirms that the ad completed.
Rewarded inventory is not offered in Daily Rig, tournaments, or sealed Friend Challenges. Declining an ad completes the run normally. Availability is never guaranteed.
Google advertising and consent
When configured and approved, BernStone Games uses Google AdSense for passive banners and may use Google Ad Manager for rewarded inventory. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
For the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, personalized advertising requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. BernStone Games keeps ad loading behind an operator-controlled readiness setting until the required consent configuration is complete.
Google advertising preferences can be reviewed through Google Ads Settings.
Children and age treatment
BernStone Games is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Where we know or determine that age-restricted treatment is required, advertising requests must use the applicable provider treatment and must not rely on personalized advertising that is prohibited for that audience.
Authorized sellers and ads.txt
BernStone Games publishes an ads.txt file at the root of the site. When a valid AdSense publisher ID is configured, it identifies Google as a direct authorized seller using the publisher ID supplied by the account owner.
We do not place placeholder publisher numbers in production. The identifier must exactly match the approved AdSense account.
Report an ad
If an advertisement appears unsafe, misleading, offensive, unreasonably disruptive, or too close to a game control, email support@bernstonegames.com. Include the page, approximate time, country, device, screenshot, and advertiser destination if it can be copied safely. Do not click a suspicious ad to collect more information.
