Acceptable use
Do not exploit, automate abuse, evade safety controls, impersonate others, or disrupt game and account systems.
Accounts and social sign-in
A BernStone account is optional for general play but may be required for cloud progress, purchases, public competition, tournaments, challenges, or verified rewards. When you continue with Google, Discord, or Twitch, you authorize that provider and Clerk to share the identity information shown on the consent screen so we can create, link, and authenticate your BernStone account. You must use an account you are permitted to use and meet the provider's minimum-age rules and applicable law.
Your account responsibility
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the provider account used to sign in secure. Do not sell, transfer, share, or impersonate an account. Contact support promptly if you believe an account was accessed without permission. We may restrict or suspend account features to investigate cheating, fraud, abuse, security risks, or violations of these Terms.
Public identity and linked accounts
Public features may display your BernStone player name or provider display name with scores, rankings, catches, challenges, or rewards. Those names must follow the Community Guidelines. Provider identities may be linked to a BernStone account; losing access, unlinking, or signing in with a different provider can make account-linked content unavailable or create a separate account until support can verify and safely resolve the link.
Third-party services
Google, Discord, Twitch, and Clerk are independent services and are not sponsors of BernStone Games. Their terms and privacy notices govern their accounts and authorization services. Provider outages, revoked authorization, policy changes, account suspension, or discontinued integrations may interrupt social sign-in. We may change or disable a connection when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, or service operation.
Disconnecting and deleting
Disconnecting a provider or revoking authorization does not cancel completed transactions or automatically delete your BernStone account. To request account or associated-data deletion, contact bernstonetvgaming@gmail.com. Some records may be retained or de-identified as described in the Privacy Policy.
Digital purchases and final sale
Paid BernStone items are digital licenses and account entitlements, not physical goods. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, every completed purchase is final, non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Digital content may be supplied immediately after payment. The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the limited exceptions that may apply.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or waives a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Where applicable law requires a remedy for content that is defective, materially not as described, not supplied, or purchased without authorization, BernStone Games will provide the remedy required by that law.
Availability
Features may evolve, pause, or change as games are balanced, secured, and improved.
