What may be processed
Game progress, settings, scores, account identifiers, support messages, purchase status, and limited device or diagnostic data may be processed when the related feature is used.
Google, Discord, and Twitch sign-in
If you choose social sign-in, the selected provider and our authentication service, Clerk, send us the information authorized on the consent screen. Depending on what the provider makes available, this may include a provider user ID, name, display name or username, profile image, email address, and email-verification status. We also keep a BernStone account ID and the session and security information needed to keep you signed in. We do not receive or store your Google, Discord, or Twitch password.
How account data is used
We use account information to create and authenticate your BernStone account, link supported game progress across devices, attach purchases and entitlements, operate leaderboards, tournaments, challenges and verified rewards, prevent abuse, and provide support. If you enter a public or competitive feature, your BernStone player name or provider display name may appear with scores, rankings, catches, challenges, or rewards.
Permissions and limits
We request the basic identity permissions shown by the provider during sign-in. The current launcher does not use social sign-in to post to your provider account, read Discord messages or servers, access Twitch broadcasts or chat, or access Google files, contacts, or other Google product content. A future feature that needs additional provider data must explain the purpose and request separate permission before access.
Authentication services
Clerk processes authentication information for us, while Google, Discord, or Twitch processes the authorization through the account you select. Their own terms and privacy notices also apply: the Google Privacy Policy, Google Terms, Discord Privacy Policy, Discord Terms, Twitch Privacy Notice, Twitch Terms of Service, and Clerk Privacy Policy.
Retention, unlinking, and deletion
Account-linked information is kept while the account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the requested features, protect the service, keep transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Disconnecting or revoking a provider stops future authorization but does not by itself delete the BernStone account or its game records. If an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify account-linked records unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, backups, or law; public competitive results may remain under a de-identified label.
Your choices
You can manage connected providers through your BernStone account profile and the provider's security or authorized-app settings. You may request access, correction, account deletion, or deletion of associated data by contacting bernstonetvgaming@gmail.com. Browser storage can also be cleared from your device settings.
